Just don't feel right.

First day of my Uni life started ytd. With no friends accompanied, it really sucks. Supposedly, to have only 2-hr lecture ytd but lecturer pushed forward the tutorial from wed to tue because most of them had only an hour's lesson on wed. Oh well, doesn't really make a difference for me. Have not met any friends from HRM course. I guess it's a pretty small group of people taking HR. Sigh. Uni life is more or less similar to poly. We have lectures and tutorials. What made a huge difference is not having my dear girlfriends with me! I'm so bored in class. I know it always takes time to get to know new friends. I just detest this part, really. Having evening lessons from today till Friday and it sucks big time. Girl, you need to adapt. Yes, I do.

Celebrated mummy's 48th Birthday last Friday. I told her to take leave that day so I can spend the day with her. We went facial, manicure & pedicure at Far East Plaza. Then, met brother & his gf at Dhoby Ghaut to have dinner at Tao's Restaurant. The dinner was great! I found this restaurant on hungrygowhere.com and the reviews was overwhelming so decided to try it out. We were even more amazed by their superb service (no doubt he's a gay, but good service!) and creative recipe. You all should try it one day!


I had my nails painted too. :)

Mummy's growing old again, but not her appearance though (at least to me). Mummy's reaching 50 in 2 years time and she's kinda sad because she's aging. No matter how old she is, I still love her like always. I love you, mummy! :D:D

Last Sat, met lunch kakis to flea market @ Scape. Bought nothing after browsing for like 15 mins? Lol. Kinda funny. Instead it was more of a catch-up, have lunch and chill ard. I missed those days when we walked down the pathway from NYP to yck mrt and asking "where shall we go?". GIRLS! I MISS YOU ALL! :(:(



After soooo many days, I finally met baby ytd! :D We haven't been on the phone lately. He was so busy that he could hardly get enough sleep. Texting is our only communication for the past week. The feeling was really bad. I fall asleep at night, hugging my bolster so tight as if hugging him. Last weekend, he wasn't able to book out and 2-day weekend felt like sooo crappy long as compared to days with him. Though we finally met for 2 hours ytd, it was pretty bad for him when he had to book in again. Hope he's fine now. :( Poor boy.

I'm sitting in my room, blogging. Yet, I feel things just isn't right.

Curtin, here I am.



Contract signed. Orientation went & I'm enrolled. Lesson is starting next Tue. And, the timetable sucks big time!!! Look below and you'll know why!

Tue: 10am -12noon
Wed: 4pm - 5pm, 7pm - 10pm
Thur: 7pm - 10pm
Fri: 7pm - 10pm

3 Evening classes! I'm taking Full-Time, fyi. This is BAD! I shld pro'ly take up some part-time jobs. I had my Orientation ytd but I left early, din wanna join their dinner and games. Curtin is a small campus, I just hope I meet nice friends. We'll see next week.

I have been going for 5 driving lessons now. So far so good. I must say, instructors make a crucial part in the learning process. How they teach makes a difference in how make use of the various techniques to drive. I'm having a lesson tmr, am looking forward!

Brother's graduation was a success! Though the speeches given by the professors and students are rather looonnngg and draggy but it was an honour for brother and us, to be witnessing his graduation ceremony @ RWS. The reason for holding the ceremony @ RWS was just because Suntec City was occupied by YOG.


My 6 dancing lessons have ended last Sat. They had us on video. It's on my Facebook! :D But it's a pity I had a few dance steps wrong during the final filming. Boo. Gotta learn new mv dance. :)

Baby's back to camp and he's only coming home next weekend. :(:( I'm missing him sooooo much!! Though I met him on Monday, together with my friends for dinner before the guys enlist. Haven't been talking to Dearie on the phone these 2 days. He has been very very busy with his stuffs and sleeping late at night. Poor Dear. :( I hope he calls me tonight!

I was reading my diary that I wrote when I was in Germany. While reading, the feeling was ordinary. It was like a dream and till now, I still can't believe I've been studying there for a period of 3 months! It's just amazing. :)

If only.. that's me.

Oh great! Facebook finally decided to change the JAVA uploader to the current one which is much faster and doesn't show you "Uploading failed." when you try to upload hundreds in a shot. :) But, it's unfair you know. Baby had it changed to the latest uploader like months ago?

I've started my Driving practical like a week ago? Had already went for 2 lessons. The first day of any lessons, be it first day of school, first day of work, first day of everything, because you're new to the environment, you'll tend to look so dumb which what I'll normally do to cover it up is observe where people go and act as if I've came for like several times?

First lesson was driving in circuit, going round and round, changing from Gear 1 to 2, learning how to turn at bends and driving in lane. On top of that, with confidence from the instructor, I drove down the ramp during my first lesson! But, I did something dangerous after that. =X During a sharp turn, I accelerated so quickly subconsciously that I nearly bang onto the car that was negotiating a bend. Luckily, I turned back on time. A mistake that nearly cause an accident.

Second lesson was driving on roads. I was really nervous and also very cautious when driving. I din dare to accelerate at all. The engine stalled like 10 times during the 2 hrs? Instructor was kinda pekcek. Oh well, I know I needed more practices.

Nastja from Slovenia whom I met in Germany, stopped by Singapore for a tour last week. It was great to see her after a year or so! As she also met the next batch of NYP students who went to Germany, Zhiyin and I only met her 1-2 days strolling along town area and Marina Bay. But din manage to send her off at the airport. I do hope that I can visit her some day at Slovenia. Also, to Finland to find Annemari.



Sat, Baby and I went to Woodlands Waterfront after my dance. It was my second time there while first for Dear. Like the first time I went, there was a crowd, many of which were families. While the breeze came, we walked on the long stretch of pathway, witnessing young kids, parents to old folks enjoying every moment, we too felt their warmth and happiness. I'm sure Dear had many thoughts as well. (:


Ytd morning, I woke everybody up for the Newpaper Big Walk @ Marina Bay. Though tired as they were, everyone still woke up and ready for the Big Walk! Off we went, the crowds were more than expected. Brother, Dear and I met a few friends along the way. After the walk, we sat at the river side watching people kayaking. Passed by the carnival and had morning breakfast at Lau Pa Sat. We came home at 12noon and we were all bushed. However, it made a lot of difference from our usual Sunday morning whereby we laze on the bed till 11am. It made me felt that I've lived my day to the fullest.


After months of waiting and calling, I finally received my soft copy of Offer Letter last Friday for goodness sake. As shown on the contract, my school will be starting on 2nd Aug which is like 2 weeks away? But, I've not signed my contract just yet, waiting for the hard copy to arrive, reckon it will come this few days.

This Wed, my brother will be having his SMU Graduation Day @ RWS! How grand is that! Even their Grad Night was at Shangri-la Hotel! I'm sure mummy is so proud of him. I am too. :D

What should I do today? Finish my July Cleo Magazine, have my eyebrow trimmed, dye my hair and hopefully clean up my room again or perhaps I should do it on Thur or Fri with my mum at home.

What shld I do?

I was supposed to blog days ago but I was sooooo lazy. I kinda have no motivation to blog anymore. The fact that I love to record down every details of my life and when time goes by, I flip back to see how much I've grown, it's nice. (:

Alright, where have I stopped? Yea, my vacation trip with my boy to Cameron & Sunway. It was really a last-minute booking, just 3 days before the trip. Boy could only confirm his leave that day. The first time ever I did my bookings with an agency and everything was done on my own. Though nothing was gonna be wrong with things all arranged by the agency, sometimes Dear was simply afraid I might remember the wrong timings, venue, bus no. and whatever, he'll just double-check it. Sorry, baby. I'm just too blur.

Awaited at the Golden Mile Tower, was a comfy bus that was driving us up to Cameron Highland. It was so comfy that we slept throughout the night without waking up for toilet breaks until dawn, I woke Dear up. Up the hill, I remembered it was a smooth ride up but coming down sucks so much. I threw up after several attempts of enduring. A day at Cameron was enough, the view was not as magnificent as we thought it would be. Beside endless of Strawberry stuffs, we went to Butterfly Farm and Honey Bee Farm. We missed the Rose Centre and we got back to the Hotel as it started raining. Checking in to Cameron Equatorial Hotel was slow and it made us waited for like 2 hrs? We were both starving, neither do we want to walk back down to the full-of-strawberry-market to buy tibits nor buy the 13 riggits pringles in the hotel lobby. After deciding upon waiting for the steamboat which starts at 6:30pm over room service, I fell asleep on the bed while baby watched tv. The steamboat was worth the wait afterall! It was the most delicious steamboat I've ever had in my 20 years of life. I ain't kidding. Baby can still joke with me and say: "Let's come up Cameron some day again just to have the steamboat!" Though it was worth the price, I think it's still not worth driving up 8-10 hours with 2 hrs going round the hill! Hah. Overall at Cameron, we only enjoyed the steamboat and the company.

The next day down to Sunway Lagoon, we were treated like King & Queen with 5* Sunway Spa & Resorts Hotel staffs. They were very polite, wherever we go, they will greet us with their right hand on their left chest. With limited time, we quickly went to the Sunway Lagoon Theme Park. Basically, we only played in the Water Park. With Dearie, everything was fun! Now that I'm typing, I'm reminiscing the moments there. After which, we went back to check in. To our delight, the room was super cozy with beautiful interior design! Baby was so excited that he jumped onto the bed straight away! I was glad I made the right choice to top up another $40/pax for a 5* Hotel. :D I am definitely going back to that Hotel if I'm going to Sunway again. Dinner was at the Shopping Centre just next to the hotel. Then, back to hotel after shopping, watched World Cup and slept.

We left on the third day happily. (:

Despite the short trip, I enjoyed every single moments with baby boy. It was the company that matters to me. If given a longer leave, we would consider hk and taiwan.

Other updates:
24th Jun - Went shopping with Zoe! Bought $300 over worth of goodies! Half of it was for Dearie. Best retail therapy ever since GSS started! :D (Zoe, but I'm still thinking of the pink luggage bag!! Buy for me, will you?)
26th Jun - Attended Dearie's 3rd Division Family Day @ Jurong Camp. (: Tried sitting in the Terrex and hold the SAR21.
30th Jun - Caught Eclipse with Chloe Starfish! She won a pair of ticket premiere. We got to watch it before the official showing in Singapore! The movie was great, even better than expected. Thanks, starfish! :D


Oh! Have I mention I pass my Final Theory?! :D Yeap yeap! I've passed, surprisingly! I had a last minute revision the day before. Before I went to SSDC, I told my mum and bro, "If I passed, I'll text you all. If not, you'll know why." Haha! So glad! After much considerations, I enrolled myself into school for my practical (manual) driving lessons. I've just booked my first practical lesson this Friday. Kinda excited!

End of Work; Start of Enjoyment (:

Yeap, as written on the title. I'm free from my 3-month contract of work! Yesterday was my last day of work at Singtel as a temp staff. Though only 3 months, I've made 2 great friends! We even had nicknames for the 3 of us.

Lynn AKA Froggie, I took over her work but she came back again now.



Chloe AKA Starfish. She's the one who keeps me company this 3 months. It was great with her around. (:

Together, we're marine creatures. Hehe. They gave me a River Island wallet as a farewell gift. :D

Updates on the past weeks. Not much, really. Just that, Annemari came to Singapore! She's the Finnish girl that I met in Germany last Winter/Spring and we got along quite well. She was here to pop by after a trip to Indonesia. It was kinda long since we last met and it's really great to see her in person again. :D She was here just for 2 days, together with the rest of them we brought them around Singapore, wherever we thought it is worth visiting. The itinerary was like this:
6 Jun - Touched down at 9:30am. Zhiyin fetched her back to home to put their bagpacks and she took them to take Singapore Flyer. Dear came along too so we met all of them at Esplanade. Brought them to Merlion Park for photo-taking. Then, Zhi Hui's bf drove us to Arab Street/Haji Lane, followed by Bugis Village and dinner at Sushi restaurant 火. Night life was at Clarke Quay, din join them because Dear had to book in so we call for cab back.
7 Jun - Met at Ion Orchard for shopping spree. Annemari requested to go back to Bugis Village, thus we went ahead after that. It was about noon time then. When we finished shopping, it was dinner time, went over to Zhiyin's house to have Hainanese Chicken Rice. I can say it was the best chicken rice I've ever eaten so far. After dinner, we bought some tropical fruits for them to try. In the list was Durians (must try in S'pore!), Lychee and "Long Kong" something like "Chiku". As usual, angmohs don't really like the taste of Durians. Haha. Oh well. No comments from me. Last but not least, the moment we never wanted, farewell at the airport. ): It's never nice to bid farewell, especially when you know you might never get to see her again unless either of us fly and have a visit. Boo. ); I missed her.

Dinner gathering with gfs last Tue at town. Surprisingly, everyone could make it that day despite the impromptu text I sent on Monday morning. (: Great laughters made my day. Shopping this week! Yeah! I'm thinking of more occasion so we can meet again, even if not, we'll come out and chill again. ;)



Today, officially my first day of slacking at home after 3 months of work. It felt so nice sitting home just listening to radio in my living room and using my laptop to surf net while enjoying the breeze. I had a to-do list in my mind, I guess I have to slowly strike them off before school starts (if they're willing to give me a place there). Oh ya, did I mention about my abrupt decision in applying Curtin Singapore? Yea, just a few days before the deadline, I sent my application. I hope to receive them soon! Din have much info about the school but luckily my cousin had her degree in Curtin too, thus had asked for her advise.

Sometimes, I just wonder why I'm so madly in love with this silly boy of mine. Being with him made me feel so safe and secure, resting against his comfy chest is what I always yearn for when he's in camp. I can literally forget the world around me revolving, just want the two of us alone. He's the last thing on Earth I ever want to lose or give up. Let us grow old together.. with just me and you.

Graduation Day; Dear's POP

As you guys may wonder when graduation will come for you when you're studying, graduation day just flew past like a dream for me. Recalling, poly graduation was much like a farewell to friends. Bittersweet, of course. Was intending to take much more photos but the graduation robe plus the formal attire and heels was too unbearable for me. Not forgetting there's mum and brother waiting for me. Brother had interview that day so he was wearing long sleeve formal shirt with a tie, he was perspiring like mad. After a few shots here and there, my family and I left to Yishun Mayim which Dear came afterwards to join us for dinner. (:



Girls, you have been great companies through these 3 years. Without all of you, I wouldn't have enjoyed my polytechnic years. It was all of you that made me woke up everyday with thoughts of studying smart and playing hard. We were the nosiest bunch of bitches in class yet the scholars are still among us. I'll never forget the joy and laughters that kept me going, as if these 3 years were shortened to 1. I know we are going separate ways from now, but we shall and must keep in contact. No matter how long we may be busy with our lives, remember you will always be missed. Yours truly will definitely miss you dearly. So, please don't forget me! :)

Worried for my future were my Mum and Brother, for they know I'll be wasting a year. Though my decision was to work for the year but everyone knows it will be difficult for anyone to go back to study after a period of work. Whatever it may be, applications for SIM/SIT is already closed. For the time being, I have to wait for next year's application while looking for some working experience.

Inside of me, I have been struggling. In addition to my PMS, my mood hasn't been good the past week. I flipped and tossed in bed a few nights before sleeping, pondering about my aspiration, my dream. I found no answer and felt asleep, then the next morning I pull myself out of bed unwillingly to work. Looking in the mirror, saw the unplanned future, I started to feel frightened, despise the useless self. It was not long before I manage to put it aside and now, I begin to worry for something else.

Last Thursday, I attended Dear's Passing Out Parade @ Pasir Laba Camp. He is now officially a Sergeant! I'm so proud that he've gotten an Honour Award through his training. He was chosen top 10 among 337 of them. It was never easy for him, the training was tough and arduous. All that I could see was his fatigue every weekend. It's Sunday again, he will be reporting tmr morning at his new camp, Amoy Quee Camp. I hope and pray everything will go on smoothly for him with his 'man'.



My boy, he's falling sick again. All thanks to the parade rehearsals under the damn bloody hot sun. x(

May is definitely an event-ful month. I almost took a day's leave every week.

Dearie is backkkk.

My tanned botak is back from Thailand. 3 weeks of sufferings has indeed burned his only fats that is in his body and skin is overcooked! *shake head* Glad he is all well~
Din really update for 2 weeks. Let's rewind,

Thur (6/5) - Dinner at Mr. Curry @ Marina Square with gfs, though a short dinner, did catch up abit. Jovena has already started her job and glad to hear it's been good for now.
Sat (8/5) - Met Jovena to collect Graduation robe together, then shopped at AMK Hub. Surprisingly, bought lots of apparels and stuff which adds up to over 100 bucks. Woah, great. My bill just came for last month and hit over thousand. =X Dear, don't scold me.
Sun (9/5) - It's Mother's Day! Needless to say, I bought her a gift. It's a wallet from Coach. As I promised myself a wristlet too, there was Mother's Day promo and I got 20% off for my wristlet. :D Well, Mum preferred a bag instead so we went back to exchange, but she had to top up the rest. :P I'm broke you see! Heh. Besides M-Day, it was also Dear's Bro's ROM. I went over to witness and it turns out kinda funny, yet sweet.


Thur (13/5) - Gfs came to my house to slack ard and played mahjong. Second mahjong attempt, lose 90 cents to our Mahjong Queen -Rachel. I'm now 'itching' for more. Exchanged our cards that Zoe made for us all. Thanks, love! It's really thoughtful of you. Syl's turn to finish up the messages for everyone. Should be done by Graduation Day next Friday, we shall take a photo of it! (:


Ytd night, Zhihong and Eileen drove me to the airport to fetch Dear home. Had supper at J. Kayu, and back to his home. Much thanks to them! :) Catch up abit with them as well.

Dear's finally home. The feeling of having him embraced ard me is great after 3 weeks of separation. I'm now waiting for him to pass out and take a few days' leave for our overseas trip plan! :D

The 'Thank you' letters have come to me from SMU and NTU. I don't have to hold on to the last hope as I know that's the least possible local uni that I could get in. Oh well. I guess I just have to wait for another year or if I'm lucky enough that SIM has second intake, I'll apply them. Blame myself for hoping that dream will turn into reality. I'm prepared to find another job that last me at least another year.

Work for May has piled up but still manageable. Another 1 and half months more to leaving. I must admit that I like it there for the environment, colleagues, supervisors and stress-free job scope. But, I think I should change an environment to experience the different jobs so that I can picture my future career path soon.

Everyone's going different ways now. I'm seeing myself growing to fit into the adult's world, am no longer teens or adolescent. Sometimes, the thought of going to work from monday to friday just makes me wonder if my life is going to go mundane after work starts. Work, home, eat, sleep and work again. It just goes on.. Till weekends, there's only like 2 days of rest and play. That's when you have no time to catch up with friends and that you lose them eventually, and you'll walk down the street some day, seeing them like strangers walking past, not remembering their names and not even smile or wave. Some may do and a few will stop by and talk to catch up. How miserable. Am starting to lose Secondary friends now. Lost Primary friends when I'm Sec 3/4. I'm not going to lose my Poly friends, at least my gfs. It's hard I know, but I'll try all means to get everyone back together as one. (:


I missed you, friend. Yes, YOU!

Only for you. ♥

Nobody knows this silly boy of mine pre-posted his post on his blog before he departed to Thailand. He told me he had posted a few but had forgotten to tell me the dates. As I stopped by his blog tonight, I was surprised and more than touched to see what he had posted.

The love story was a true teenage story about him and I. That happened probably 6 years ago when we were really young and flashing back, it seems like it was yesterday. The msn texts, smses, .. the anticipating feeling of receiving his smses every single moment, the nonsensical quarrels & fights, going to school tgt with his dad driving us, morning talks at the corner of the staircase which sometimes were like "Heaven" / "Hell" - those who have seen/passed by us would have known where it is.. and the list just goes on.. All these little memories stay vividly in my mind for 5 and a half years. How I hope all of them are recorded in DVD so that I can play it again and again in my player and reminisce all the wonderful and tough days we had been through. Though, I've had them recorded in my tiny brain. I would prefer to have both.

Sitting here in my living room, supposedly to get a good night sleep from a day's work, is missing my boy who is far far away from home and is out in the jungle. Another week to your return. Tomorrow don't seem like a weekend for me anymore. I just want you home safe and sound. I know you will, right? I'm waiting for you.

I missed you, __.

It's another week. 2 more weeks to go, to seeing my dearest! :)

Dine in Sushi Tei @ Raffles City with my family on Friday. Wanted to go Sands but had dropped off the idea since Mum and I were tired after a day at work. Nevertheless, I brought Mum to Sands ytd after we went to the NATAS fair, Beauty fair and shopped at Millennium Walk. Had planned to take the Circle Line at Promenade Station but saw the crowds going towards Helix Bridge, thus we went along. But, never did I expect the crowd to be that overwhelming. It felt like some Stars was in front. -.- Bad day to go to Sands when all the constructions has yet to be done. Oh well, I guess the scenery is better when it's all done. Till then, I'm going with my Boyf. ((:

Boy oh boy. He's having 2 days field camp which will be ending tonight. Next up, will be grand slam that hopefully, wouldn't kill him. I heard it's gonna be hard on them with such bad and humid weather in Thailand. Singapore is already that hot, I can't imagine how can they suffer with all the trainings. Army sucks real badly. ;( I miss my boy. I can't wait to attend his Parade so that he'll have more freedom (I hope).

Today's the 7th year (based on Lunar Calendar). Though his presence was unseen, but I know he's with us through the good and the bad times. Gone are the days we'll never forget. I missed you.

It'll be another week of mundane work. I'm yearning to stay in late, online shopping, use the internet whenever I want and those things I've missed out when I'm working. What I really crave for now is, an overseas trip!! Brother is going to Krabi with his gf tmr. I want mine too! Boo.

MSL 10th Dinner

The series of events that happened on Friday indeed drained all my energy away. I was bushed, yet I slept at 2am. As I was saying.. The first event, my BTT in the morning. I looked back and I wonder why am I so nervous when it was just a computerised, MCQ theory test. Maybe I wasn't that confident if my studying method - only studying on train while heading to work, will work because it's as if I din take it seriously. But whatever it is, I PASSED, surprisingly in just 10-15mins! :D I walked out to Dear and acted sad. Haha, he thought I failed!
-Dear, I won't waste your effort cycling me to and fro this far-far-away SSDC.-

Came home, painted my nails and preparing to meet Anna at Cwp before heading to Marsiling for the 10th Dinner.  But, guess what! THUNDERSTORMS just before I wanted to leave the house and Anna got stucked at the custom. BAD WEATHER. It just ruined my mood for the dinner. In the end, cab to fetch Anna and we went to MSL straight. Dinner was totally awesome with the warm welcome and grand decorations of the hall. Saw some friends here and there. A pity though, many din come. Seating arrangement was kinda bad, difficult to talk. Pro'lly din manage to synchro with the rest. Went off early to fetch mum and send Dear to the airport. Din have enough time to catch up. Hope everyone is doing well. (:



Brother's clique came over ytd for steamboat and had belated birthday celebration with Kim. Brother bought all the best 'balls' and live seafood. Everything was great with my mum's soup. *yums! Had a few cups of mixed Vodka (I mixed them myself, hah. Taste not that bad lah.), played my first-ever mahjiong with guidance from Huimin and had adrenaline rush together with her for Texas Hold'em. Thanks to her and my beginners' luck, I won 20 bucks. Enough to last for a few days of lunch at Somerset. :D Am still learning but gotta have mahjong kakis to practice. Haha. Girlies, if anytime you all are free, come my house play mahjong! Just don't clear all my money away.

It's the 2nd day. Dear called 4 times. Training hasn't officially begun. Still, worried surfaces on my face. Thailand just ain't a good place to be at for army. ): I just pray everything will be fine for him and come home safe and sound. Let me be busy at work for I can forget my misses for him temporary.

Ytd's alcohol definitely giving me lots of prob for my gastric. Since this morning, my gastric pain has been acting up and I can't stand straight! Tsk. Bad bad case. Told Dear just now and he banned me from drinking. Boohoo. ): I din drank much you know. And I'm feeling this kinda pain. Eeyer.. LOUSY GASTRIC. Humph.

Simple is bliss.

Just came home from Changi Airport and Pasir Laba Camp. Sent mum off at the airport. She's flying to Melbourne. The time just aint right, brother and I are left at home. ): Boo. Then, took the bloody cold bus 858 back to Woodlands, I nearly freeze to death! *brrr* Just nice, managed to come back on time to send Dear back camp. Glad that he'll be back on Thur. But, it'll be disheartening to part with him for another 3 weeks while he is going to Thailand. Boohoo. ;(

It's been 2 weeks. Work? Still the same old shit. Oh well. At least not as bad as it seems to be.

Something to add to my sweet memories; 
Though nothing extraordinary but it just makes me smile the whole day. :D Simple is bliss.
Dear and I spent a day out yesterday at Tampines Ikea, had lunch at Sushi Tei and shopped around Tampines One/Mall. I always love to take a walk and look at the artistically designed corners in Ikea. I will picture my future home to be of such nice and cozy place to stay in. The feeling is just awesome! The trip to Ikea ytd, made me imagine a home of my boy and I. If one day we could get married and have a house of our own, I'm willing to spend the effort, time and money to design and build our cozy nest. (:

This Friday's gonna be a busy day for me, I think perhaps just mentally. Basic Theory Test in the morning, MSL Dinner in the evening, mummy coming back from Melbourne and Dear leaving home to Thailand. I foresee a drastic emotional transition on that day. Hah.

Happiness is a state of mind. Are you happy?

It has been a cool and rainy today. Lunch out with Brother at Woodlands Mart with the intention of trying a new eat-out venue, but the dark clouds shifted so quickly that it poured heavily while we were waiting for the bus to head home after our lunch. What's bad was the bus stop was quite a distant away from the sheltered blocks. With no choice, we alighted at Woodlands Regional Int. Took neoprints with Brother which we once took in 6 years ago, I felt I was old for that machine. Omg. Thinking of what and how to pose was crap. Mind you, neoprints was one of my favourite pastimes! Ohh.. Look how time has passed by so quickly. Then, caught a movie "Whip It" with Brother. Was a normal movie though. Suitable for a lazy weekend. But, I don't recommend to watch them in the cinema. (You know what are the alternatives.)

I did mention that last Saturday Dear celebrated his 21st Birthday at home with food catering, right? I'm glad at the end, he did requested to plan a party for himself. It turned out to be better than expected. For those who had attend his birthday party would know that he bought a Coach bag for his mum for bringing him up these 21 years. I was impressed by his courage to deliver such a touching speech in front of all his friends. Some of you might think it was superficial but I know, deep inside his heart, he was true to what he says. And, maybe because I was touched as well, I forget to press the start button while recording video. That's why that part wasn't captured. =X Whatever it is, Dear, I'm sure your parents are grateful for having you as their filial son. (:


I was stoning that day in the office, thinking why am I stucked in this job that made me feel unmotivated all of a sudden. The reason behind it was definitely the mundane job tasks given to me. I felt I was wasting my life away. I am now still in the midst of thinking whether to quit the job before it's too late to leave. Hmm.. Let me think it through during this long weekend.

Farewell Lunch @ Pocket of Poises
Celebrated Sylvia's 20th birthday last Wednesday. We had a simple dinner together and cut cake. Zoe came back from HK a week ago and she bought us each a small gift. I love mine! It was a small coin purse and a black hp strap with furry balls. :D Love them! Thanks, girl!

A refresh blogskin!

I received an email from Blogger that they're introducing its new Blogger Template Designer which makes me had the urge to peel off my old blogskin. Actually, a few months back, I wanted to change it but the thought of having to mess around with the html, I dropped off the idea. Alright, here I am with a new refresh blogkin. Just want to keep it simple, I think those templates in blogskins.com no longer interest and suit me.

I've been working for a week for now. It's definitely more enjoyable with younger colleagues as compared to Creative. Besides, I don't deny the fact that I prefer working in Town area to West area. Working full-time, lunch time is the only period that you'll look forward to before continuing your work till the end of the day. As expected, I din shop only on Friday, in fact, for this week alone, I made full use of every lunch hours to shop. =X I think my salary is just to use to pay off these shopping debts!

Though data entry can be so boring, with my clique-able colleagues, working hours seems to shorten. (: I guess I'll be able to tahan through the 3 months.

I seriously wanna flyyyy overseas. I soooooo wanna go on a vacation lahhh.

Girlfriends, meet up soon okay! Anna, don't forget me too!

I think I need to go prepare before Dearie kills me. We'll be going over his house to celebrate his belated birthday! :D

Happy Birthday, Dearie! (:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEARIE!


My dearest boy is already 21 now. Freedom door has opened for him, I guess he doesn't want to grow up. He has always been an early matured boy and has been carrying the heavy responsibilities in taking care of his family. Now that his officially 21, I know inevitably he is carrying more on his back. Nevertheless, I hope he will stay strong. And, don't you worry, Dear, I'll be there for you. (:


It's my first day of work in Singtel today. Overall, I think it's quite alright for me. I like the environment and my colleagues (as in those doing the same thing as me). Just that, data entry can be a tat too bored for me. But, for me, I guess we've no choice right?

Celebrated Dear's birthday with his family. Just a simple lunch at Yishun Safra. And! I actually baked 21 cupcakes for Dearie. Cupcakes are often mistaken as an easy thing to do, that's why I wanted to try. But, I was really wrong. I tested out on Wed and it was a disaster, seriously. =S The banana cupcake failed. Luckily, the final cupcakes were done on Sat, it was all nice and yummy! Decoration with Cream Cheese Frosting on Sunday morning was so rush that I had my whole dining table messed up and my hands filled with food colouring and had a buttery smell. Still, it was a success with Dear and his family's praises. I'm glad they love the cupcakes. :D And, with Dear's hugs and kisses was enough to erase all the hardwork. ^^

I found a job!

After weeks of slacking, I've finally found a job at Singtel! :D Though in whatever cases, I was paid a dollar/hr lesser than was said earlier, I'm starting work coming Monday. (: At least when Dear goes for his army overseas for 3 weeks, I'm occupied with work. Since workplace is at Somerset, Friday shall be shopping for me! Muahaha!

Some updates;

Sat > Dear and I caught a film "Cop Out". It was an impromptu decision, I wasn't keen on watching "Green Zone" so Dear din pull me along to watch with me. Sorry, Dear! Din wanna waste the money. "Cop Out" was average, just couldn't understand their Latin jokes.

Sun > Dear and I went to SSC to buy printer for his sis. Had trouble installing the softwares, Dear end up spending the whole afternoon troubleshooting them. Then, had dinner with his family and sent him to camp.

Mon > Dental appointment at Yishun. Only did scaling and polishing. Never regret skipping the Polyclinic appointment. The one at Yishun is cheap and they don't have trainee to do it for me. After that, met mum at Plaza Sing. Had dinner at Xin Wang HK Cafe. Their black pepper chicken chop was nice! Before heading home, we spent a few hours shopping at Spotlight and Daiso. Bought a few cute stuffs from Daiso. (: Happy!

Tue > Played badminton in sch with Zoe, Shareen, Clement and ST. Jovena and Sylvia were there as cheer leaders. xD Met up with Rachel for dinner at Bishan 煮炒. Delicious and cheap! Shall go back again.

Thur > Went for interview at Singtel, it lasted for a short while. Shopped alone at 313 and bought alot. :D It was enjoyable and has been long since I shopped alone. Try it some day, just don't overspend! At night, met mum for short dinner and second round with Dearie at Jurong Point. =X We had Korean BBQ at Baek Doo San. Though very expensive, but it's definitely worth the money!

Fri > Signed contract with Recruit Express for the Singtel job. Went shopping again while waiting for Dear's call. Met up with him again at Jurong Point because he had 2 nights out. (: Though I was very very tired, it's still worth the trip going down, seeing him for another 1.5hr.

Did I mention that I've booked my Driving Basic Theory Test on 23rd April? That was one of the earliest dates I can booked. It's also MSL 10th Anniversary dinner. I'll be going but I wonder how many in our class is. Hmm.. It's a pity Dear couldn't, because he will be flying off on that midnight or even the previous day. Aww, it'll be 3 weeks by then. )):

Will be celebrating Dear's early 21st birthday with his family tmr and belated birthday with his friends next Sat. (: Hope he likes the surprise I made for him!

Dumb dumb me.

Chopped my hair on Monday and dyed my hair with Liese on Tuesday morning before meeting my gfs and Clement to have Dim Sum. My hair somehow looks the same. Was thinking of perming or rebonding to cut it short. Haven't had the mental preparation yet. Lol. So, just stick with it for the time being.

Tuesday after Dim Sum, we went to the KBox at Chinatown. They had promotion, with member, $8 nett for 3 hours per pax. We got the big room as well, it's so cool. 2 big screens and touchscreen selection menu. :D And, we got Clement to take videos of us and the 2 videos are so hilarious!



Ytd was home looking for jobs online and I'll be going for the interview at Recruit Express later. I cannot forgive my dumbness. I thought 1 of them was from Kelly Services when I heard "Kelly". -.- Luckily, I called to confirm the address. If not, I'll be damn paiseh. =X

I applied for Flyer Distributor job at IT show ytd as well, it was an urgent post. Somehow, I was happy I din get it because it means I can acc Dear this weekend! :) Though the pay is attractive, but nvm.

Technical fault.

I know I promised to blog soon, guess what! My Singtel Broadband went hare-wire, and I almost died without internet for the whole week! >:( What's more, I've taken Mio Home, it affected the phone and Mio TV as well. Oh, nvm. It's all fixed ytd!

Sidetracking,

27 Feb (Sat) - Class Chalet at East Coast Park, didn't stay as I had to go home to prepare for Dear's brother's wedding the next morning. Cycled with Dear to the end of ECP and back to join the rest. As much as I enjoyed cycling in the past, I love it even more now. The memories of the past still stay vividly in my mind as though it was ytd. The feeling was just great. (: Back to chalet, was served with lots of food for us, I greatly appreciate them.

I would like to thank the organisers of this chalet, those who help set up the fire, Zoe, who helped me bbq all my food (LOVE YOU LA!) and all those who have contributed here and there. THANK YOU! Though I might not know some of you well and that we might not see each other again, still, all the best to all of you. (:(:

28 Feb (Sun) - Dear's bro's wedding was a success. It's actually my first time going through the whole traditional wedding process as I was in the bridesmaid group. Tired but even more elated to witness their marriage. I gave them my blessing and also awaiting the little baby girl.

Mon to Wed, I was home all day with a big task on me. "Room Transformer"! 心情中动员; My task is to clear the mess that I've created for these 3-5 years. You can't imagine my room until you actually witness them with your own eyes. How much things I've piled up showed how long I've not spring-clean my room. Now, I shall let everyone see the Before & After of my room.



Thurs, sang with 小鹅 at Marsiling KTV to spend her last day of being 鹅. LOL. Because the next day is her 20th birthday. Besides Rachel who is older than us by 3 years, she's the first in our clique to reach 2x! hahaha. So, Friday, we all had Sakae lunch to celebrate 老鹅's birthday. 老鹅! Remember to use the contact lens and solutions hor! Not forgetting Zoe's presents! :)) Hope you liked them.

Ytd, Dear and I caught the film, 做人. Director Liang film is getting no-go. It's still as funny but the plot seems too simple. Rating: 2/5. Oh ya, and his recent scandal is omg, cmi. Radio DJ commented it was just their advertising tricks. Aiya. What's the point. But, if it's real, he better check his eyesight or for the both of them. Scandal; Shouldn't it meant to be a prettier/better-looking person?

My phone is restarting on its own again, I'm so afraid that it might just die off like that. :( I need to get a new one now. Any phone to recommend? Coincidentally, Dear's one is dying as well. Hah, like finally he's willing to change that crappy phone. Haha. Though it's the birthday present I bought for him last year. :P

Speaking about Dear, he's getting so so VAIN nowadays. It's a good sign though. (: I'm missing him again. Looking forward to seeing him this sat!

I just cant stop smiling. (:

Yes! I've survived through the endless ongoing projects and the 4 torturous exams. My last paper for the whole of my poly life ended at 6pm yesterday. The feeling was extraordinary when you know the next time you will visit the school is during Graduation Day (that's only if I managed to pass all my modules). I'm just not confident this time round, BPO alone can made me wanna give up in the midst of doing the paper. ;( I can literally stare on the question and my mind went totally blank. Oh well, it's over! Bless me! I wanna graduate!

The contrary feeling of graduating, I guess I will only feel it when I'm moving on to the next phase of life. As of now, just let me enjoy the long long break. Ever since I came back from Germany, I've not rested for long periods of time and I've waited soooooo long for this date to arrive. Lots of plans and activities on my mind, I better not have excuses to nua at home again. If things go well and I'm lucky to be chosen to go into local uni, I'll have 6 months of break. I'm gonna make good use of these 6 months to learn something and hopefully get some working experience as well. :D


The fear of not getting into local uni does come into my mind especially when my gpa is just on the borderline. Well, SIM global can be my second opportunity to study uni, but I guess I can only apply on the 2nd intake if I wait for the local uni results. We'll see..

Studies aside, speaking about CNY. I missed last year's CNY because I was in Germany, I was pretty anticipated to see my relatives whom I only see them once a year, exceptional for last year. Surprisingly, this year, I got to see almost all my relatives and we took a family photo together. Little cousins have grown up while the older aunts and uncles have grown old. It's just great to reminisce the past when I was still young and round. I showed them the photos when I was young, they all laughed and told me how much difference I've changed during these 20 years of my life. It brought back memories, one of my cousin told me that I was at the verge of leaving the world when I was 1 year old, he nearly lost grip of me at the edge of the cliff at Genting Highlands. Hah, I'm glad I was saved and live well till today. (:

Coincidentally, V-Day fell on CNY as well. We've made an agreement not to celebrate this year as it would be packed when it falls on a Sunday, CNY and V-Day altogether. However, I still insisted to meet Dear on that very day even when I reached home at night. We talked about anything and everything under the moon, digging events that happened 5 years ago and even before we met. How nice it will be to reminisce memories that have past 10, 20, 30 or even 50 years when we grow old. Of course, it will only happen if we are able to walk through these years together. There's never "forever" in a relationship, but there's still "lasting" relationship, it just depends how long a couple can embrace their love even when one day the love seems to tear apart.

I better get going to prepare for the shopping spree with my gfs later! :D I need to get a dress for Dear's bro's wedding this Sunday!
